Executive Coaching/On-Boarding
Change is ultimately about behavior and sometimes the behavior that
deserves the focus of attention is that of individual people, rather
than that of the entire organization. This is where executive coaching
is important and effective.
We work with individuals who have particular behavior change needs,
to help them understand their current behavior, to help them see the
desired behavior, and to make the changes necessary for them to be
more successful. For example, we provide executive coaching
around such issues as:
 |
Goal Achievement |
 |
Time Management |
 |
Team Leadership and Teamwork |
 |
Communication |
 |
Leadership |
 |
Career Management |
The work starts with assessments, including self-assessments and 360-degree or peer assessments. This helps us target the areas for improvement. We then create a process for change, working individually with people over a 3-6-9 month period to explore, learn, attempt and then measure the impact of their behavior change. Coaching is usually conducted in one-hour sessions, either by phone or in person.
Coaching has proven especially effective for individuals who are put into new leadership roles… either newly recruited into the organization or promoted from within to a new and different role. We consider these to be “Transitioning” Executives and, so, call our work TRANSITIONING PLUS. This is a special, highly focused assessment/coaching offering that builds a focus on performance and puts executives on a 100 day pay to achieving results. Research has shown that the 100 day start-up window is a critical time for transitioning executives. Therefore, we focus on that window to create a path toward success.
We also offer a unique ability to coach executives and managers on how to give and get feedback,
which is an essential aspect of talent management.
